Lewis Turner is an American Anchor working with First Coast News where he serves the station as a co-anchor for Good Morning Jacksonville. He has been working with the station since the month of December 2010.

Turner works with First Coast News where he serves the station as a co-anchor for Good Morning Jacksonville. He states that he loves anchoring the news and has a deep passion for storytelling. He works hard to tell the stories of the First Coast and has been nominated for and won multiple storytelling Emmys as a result.
Among his favorite memories of working at First Coast News took place at the 2012 Olympics in London. While there, he was using his media credentials to watch the 100-meter finals, where he ran into Usain Bolt. Mr. Bolt who unfortunately mistook him for an employee at the Olympic Stadium asked him to find a jump rope just moments before going out and winning the gold medal.
He states that it is surreal that moments like this are the ones that have been a blessing in his 16-year television career. When he got to cover things like international NFL games, nudist colonies, PGA Tour events, the Olympics, hurricanes, massive protests, and elementary school field days. These reports have made Lewis extremely lucky to get to do a job he is wanted since he was in 8th grade.
Prior to First Coast News, he was working with news stations in Columbia, St. Louis, Missouri, and South Carolina. He is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina where he obtained a broadcasting degree. Additionally, he is a proud graduate of the University of Mississippi where he obtained a Meteorology Degree.
He states that he is more impressive than having a one-on-one conversation with Usain Bolt, is his family. He has been with his wife for over two years. Away from work, he enjoys hitting the gym, trying to improve his short game on the golf course, and spending time with his family.
