Lindsey Ward is an American anchor and reporter who is best known for her time at WSLS where she served as a weekday evening anchor a position she took up in 2012. She joined the WSLS team in March 2008, as a weekday reporter.
There’s a saying that there’s no place like home. Lindsey has returned to the mountains after working and attending school in Central Virginia for the past five years. Lindsey earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University.
She started her television career as a tape editor at NBC 12 in Richmond, gradually working her way up to the assignment desk. Ward packed up and traveled a bit west to Cavalier Country to begin reporting at Charlottesville’s CBS19 / ABC16 / FOX27, despite enjoying her time as a Ram. She worked at the Newsplex as a reporter, photographer, producer, and anchor, among other things.
