Marcus Solis is an American reporter working at WABC-TV where he serves as a weekday ad weekend reporter. He joined WABC-TV in November 1997, after previously working at NY1 News where he also served as a reporter.
Bronx is Bronx native home and he watched Eyewitness News while growing up. Solis has filed reports from Mexico, Cuba, and Puerto Rico in addition to covering stories throughout the tri-state area. Before he joined the WABC-TV team, he worked at New York 1 News where he served as an anchor/ reporter. In addition, he has also worked at WFAS AM and FM in White Plains and at WDTV in Clarksburg, West Virginia. In 1987, he joined Syracuse University where he studied at its Newhouse School of Public Communications, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism in 1991.
