Melissa Francis is an American anchor/reporter/host, correspondent, comedy writer, and author known for having worked as the co-anchor of FOX Business Network’s After the Bell, as well as co-anchor on FOX News Channel’s top-rated ensemble show, Outnumbered. She joined the network as an anchor in 2012 and left in 2020. Francis is the Founder & CEO of Sailfish Productions.

Prior to joining CNBC, Francis was a reporter for the broadcasting unit of CNET, where she was responsible for economics, telecommunications, and consumer goods. Francis was a correspondent for News 12 New Jersey prior to CNET and anchored in Hartford, Manchester, and Providence for several New England television stations. She has worked as the WCSH-TV NBC Portland producer and The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour writer.
