Samantha Myers is an American former anchor who is best known for her time at WPTA where she served as a weekday morning anchor. She joined WPTA in January 2020, and later in March 2022, she left the station. Myers currently works at Huntington National Bank as the communications manager.
Myers joined Oxford High School in 2008 and graduated with a diploma in 2012. Samantha then joined the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in journalism in May 2016. In April 2014, she secured a job at KOMU 8 as a multimedia Journalist and she worked at the station for 2 years. She relocated to Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she worked at KCRG-TV9 as a reporter and multimedia journalist till May 2018, when she left the station. In addition, she has also worked at Fox 59 in Indianapolis, Indiana as a reporter for almost 2 years before later joining WPTA.
