Bower works with KELLOLAND News where he serves the station as a Sports Anchor/Director. He joined the KELLOLAND team after graduating from the University of South Dakota where he obtained a degree in Media and Journalism. Additionally, he also served the station as a Sports Reporter at KELO-TV for 2 and a half years before he was made the Weekend Sports Anchor. His roles were added in December 2020 when he was made the station’s Sports Director.
Despite being born and raised in Minnesota, he has many connections to South Dakota where both of his parents grew up in Aberdeen, and his grandma still lives there. Bower enjoys covering games and shooting highlights as well as sharing athletes’ stories. Away from work, he loves hunting, playing hockey, watching sports, golfing, and fishing. He says that he is waiting patiently for the Vikings to win the elusive Superbowl title.
