Parsons serves as an anchor at Good Day Oregon every morning from 4:30 to 9 am on FOX 12. She began her journalism career at KSTU-Fox 13 in Salt Lake City, Utah where she interned and also worked as a substitute teacher to pay her bills. Parsons was officially hired after she completed her internship program and started serving as a reporter and later on started serving as a weekend anchor.
She, later on, moved to a station in Portland in 2000 where she served as the anchor of the 5 and 6 O’Clock newscasts. Prior to this role, she served as the anchor of the 10 O’Clock News alongside Wayne Garcia. Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, reading(she is a member of a book club), and trying out new restaurants.
