Tim Deegan is an American Meteorologist working with First Coast News where he serves the station as a Chief Meteorologist and broadcasts the weather during the weekday evening newscasts. He has been working with the station since the year 1982.

Deegan works with First Coast News where he serves the station as a Chief Meteorologist. Prior to First Coast News, he was working with KRIS-TV located in Corpus Christi, Texas, and KBTX in Bryan, Texas. He is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University in the year 1981 where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Meteorology. After his graduation, he went ot become a certified member of the American Meteorological Society.
The year 2005 saw him become one of the first 100 people to become an AMS-certified broadcaster. He is also well-known for his community involvement and especially for his interest in teaching kids about meteorology. Asides from this, he spends a great deal of his free time working with his wife, who is the former First Coast News Anchor, Donna Deegan on her foundation, the DOnna Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to helping those living with breast cancer. Away from work, he enjoys spending time in or around the ocean.
