Tracy Smith is an American correspondent, News anchor, and reporter working for CBS News. She joined the network in 2000 and serves as a national correspondent.

In addition to that, she reported on the aftermath of genocide in Rwanda, the long-ranging effects of Chernobyl, the war in Chechnya, the civil war in Southern Sudan, Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination in Israel, as well as the rise of neo-Nazis in Germany. Prior to working for Channel One News, she worked for KERO-TV, the CBS affiliate in Bakersfield, California as a part-time reporter.
