Austin State University in Nacogdoches where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree. This was the same place where he pledged the Phi Delta chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Incorporated.

He states that his most memorable story involved two Decatur children raising more than $2,000 by selling snacks and homemade candles outside of their homes. That money was used to pay for their grandmother’s chemotherapy.

Afterward, they also donated $500 to the Cancer Care Center of Decatur. When he was living in Jacksonville, his motto was “Make a difference.” Hardy states that he wants to share the stories and amplify voices in every community. Away from work, he enjoys collecting vinyl records, visiting local businesses, and reading comic books.
