Audrey Kuchen is an American anchor and reporter who is working at FOX 61. She anchors the weekday 5, 10, and 11 p.m. newscast alongside Lorenzo Hall and Brent Hardin. In addition, she joined the FOX 61 news team in 2010.
Previously, she worked in Southern Oregon at KOBI NBC-5 and KMVU-TV Fox 26 serving as the main anchor in the stations. While she was in Southern Oregon, she also served as the spokesperson for “Smart Choices Healthy Lives,” which is a campaign to fight childhood obesity and promote nutrition and physical fitness in schools.
In addition, she served on a number of panels during televised United States Senate and state gubernatorial debates where she was voted the “Best Local TV Personality” by Southern Oregon Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Awards as well as a “Favorite Television Personality” by the MailTribune.
While she was at the state Senate in Phoenix, she served as a political journalist, reporting on groundbreaking anti-bullying laws in schools, controversial illegal immigration legislation, and unique right-to-bar arms issues in the Grand Canyon State. Furthermore, she served as a reporter while she was in the City by the Bay for the HomeTown NewsNetwork. While serving as a reporter, she covered everything from local government, sports, and San Francisco nightlife to art.
She attended the University of Arizona where she got her degree in media arts and journalism. In addition, she is a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Connecticut is her native home prior to her being raised in Madison. She attended Daniel Hand High School where she graduated proudly.
