Jenn Bernstein is an American Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter who is working at FOX61. She serves as the anchor of the 4 and 10 pm newscast and host of The Real Story which airs on Sundays at 10 am. In addition, she rejoined the FOX 61 news team in August 2014.
Jenn Bernstein Career
She did a story on “Anatomy of An Attack Ad,” that analyzed campaign messages during Connecticut’s contentious gubernatorial contest, and for her story, she won an Emmy award. Simsbury is her native home. She first joined the FOX 61 news team in 2010 and served as a general assignment reporter to the year 2012.
While working at FOX 61, she did a series of stories on bullying in schools which earned her an Emmy nomination. In addition, she did a live report on the Blizzard of 2010. She reported from the beach in Fairfield when Tropical Storm Irene hit Connecticut in 2011.
She also focused on politics, including covering the 2010 campaign for Governor where Democrat Dan Malloy faced off against Republican Tom Foley. In addition, at Quinnipiac University, she served as an Adjunct Graduate Journalism Professor.
Furthermore, she has also worked at KYW-the CBS affiliate in Philadelphia where she began working from 2014 to 2020. While she was on the station, she reported on the aftermath of the Penn State Sex Abuse Scandal. She worked in the Buffalo and Albany television markets before she began working in Philadelphia and Connecticut. She attended Union College in Schenectady, New York.
