While in Oklahoma, she alongside 11 other journalists was allowed to enter the death chamber to witness the fumbled execution of Clayton Lockett. She was tasked with reporting so that the public could decide whether or not it was constitutional. She gained national attention for her report about Lockett’s crime, the drugs used, and his time on death row. Francisco won regional and national Emmy awards for her work covering a lethal tornado that ripped through Moore.
Before Oklahoma, she worked in Texas at KBMT as a reporter and fill-in anchor. While there, she concentrated on the military hearing of Nidal Hasan who was sentenced for the shooting rampage in 2009 at Fort Hood that killed 13 people and injured 32 people. She made the Environmental Protection Agency change the way it observes sites after she reported on a Beaumont toxic waste disposal site.
She has volunteered in various organizations such as; Hoofbeats for Hope, as a Fundaiser at Dancing for Cystic Fibrosis since January 2015, From October 2017 to November 2017, as a Moderator at City Council Debates, as an Emcee at Cystic Fibrosis of CLT from May 2017 to May 2019, and as an Emcee at KAREfarm for one month in March 2022.
