Julie Durda is an American award-winning Meteorologist working at Local 10. She joined the station in October 2012.

Durda serves as a meteorologist at Local 10 News. Since joining Local 10 News, she enclosed the Pacific hurricane seasons She started her journalism career at KXTV in 2003 where she served as a weather, feature, and traffic reporter. Prior to joining WPLG, she worked at WSVN Channel 7 where she served as a meteorologist from October 2007 to October 2012.

Prior to that, she worked at KPHO where she served as a Traffic and weather anchor from 2005 to 2007. Before that, she worked at News 10 where she serve as a traffic and weather anchor from 2002 to 2005. She went to Mississippi State University where she attained her Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Broadcast Meteorology in 2009.

Durda is also the owner of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) seal of approval and is also an active member of the National Weather Association (NWA) since 2006. In addition to that, she was also voted “Best Meteorologist in South Florida” in 2011. She also supports several charitable causes including Breast Cancer Awareness, the Boys and Girls Club, and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
