Katie Crowther Biography

Katie Crowther is an American journalist currently working as the weekend anchor and reporter at TMJ4. She joined the station in April 2014.

She went to John Carroll University and Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She began her television career in Rockford, Illinois, and most recently worked in Las Vegas for three years as a news reporter. She worked in Cleveland, Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York City, and Dublin, Ireland, among other places. Katie loves to travel, participate in sports, spend time with her family and friends, try new things, and meet new people. She’s thrilled to be relocating to Milwaukee and is looking forward to exploring the city.

Scripps Company owns the station, which is part of a duopoly alongside Kenosha-licensed Ion owned-and-operated station WPXE-TV (channel 55) WTMJ’s studios are on Capitol Drive (WIS 190) in Milwaukee (an Art Deco structure dubbed “Radio City” in honor of the New York complex of the same name), and its transmitter is four miles (6.4 km) north of downtown Milwaukee.
