She began her journalism career as a multimedia journalist at WAGM-TV, a small station in Presque Isle, Maine. Taylor graduated with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Temple University (Go Owls!) in 2015.

Lumpkin worked as a foreign journalist in South Africa while in school and was active with Temple University’s television program, TUTV. Lumpkin can be found hiking and wandering about town with her dog, Gracie, or out exploring a new part of the city when she isn’t covering topics in the neighborhood.
