Liz Gonzales is an American Reporter/Anchor working with KMPH FOX 26 News where he serves the station as a 10 O’clock News Anchor. She has been working with FOX 26 News in Fresno, California since October of the year 2007.
Liz Gonzales Career
Gonzales works with FOX 26 News where she serves the station as a News Anchor for the 10 O’Clock News. She was raised in the Central Valley and is a proud graduate of Sanger High School. She is also a proud graduate of CSU where she obtained a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism. Gonzales kick-started his broadcasting career working in college where she was working as a reporter for KFTV-21 Univision.
She has also worked with KVIA News located in El Paso where she was covering immigration, education, and military issues. She returned to the Central Valley where she worked for about three years as the South Valley Bureau Chief at KSEE. There, she was focusing on stories in Tulare and Kings Counties.
Her reports include issues that range from uncovering a backlog in processing paychecks for Federal Firefighters during the 2015 wildfire season and the impact of widespread Americans with Disability Act lawsuits on Central Valley businesses. She also enjoys helping viewers find ways to save money.
Gonzales is a proud member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and Investigates Reporters and Editors. Asides from this, she is proud to be bilingual and spends her time walking with students about focusing on their futures. During her free time, she can be found cheering on her husband at Half Marathons across the Central Valley. She is a super fan of Dodger Blue.
