Marc Istook is an American anchor who is working at WFAA. He serves as the morning co-anchor alongside Kara Sewell, meteorologist Greg Fields, and traffic anchor Tashara Parker.

Istook serves as the morning co-anchor at WFAA. He was able to secure his first on-air job at KTEN in Sherman, Texas where he served as a sportscaster and news anchor. While he worked at KTEN, his work was recognized by the Texas AP Broadcasters and the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters.
He relocated to Los Angeles in 2001 where he covered tech, entertainment, news, and sports, for outlets like the TV Guide Network, ABC.com, the BBC, Yahoo, and CNN. In addition, he served as the host of a reality show for the SPEED Channel, a kitchen gadget show for the Food Network, and covered the Golden Globes, Oscars, Grammys, and Emmys. For the past five years, he was focused on football as a host and sports anchor for the NFL Network-based. While serving as a journalist he has traveled all over the globe and he is currently happy to be working in Texas at WFAA.
Istook attended Southwest High School where he graduated proudly. He joined Texas Christian University in 1994 and in 1998, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science, in Radio/TV/Film. During his downtime, he enjoys TCU Football, photographing, running, and cooking.
