Marisa Woloszyn is an American Emmy Award-Winning AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist working at TMJ4. She joined the station in January 2021.
It’s no surprise that I’m from the Midwest, where the weather can change in an instant. Her curiosity about extreme weather phenomena and her desire to understand why they occur led her to pursue a career in meteorology. With a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences and majors in Sustainability and Environmental Studies, she graduated from Michigan State University. Marisa also holds a master’s degree in Applied Meteorology from Mississippi State University, as well as an accreditation from the American Meteorological Society as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist. Despite the fact that she is in Badger’s country, she will support the Spartans.
