Kainani Stevens is an American multimedia journalist who is working at FOX 61. She joined the Fox 61 news team in August of 2018 and serves as a sports anchor.
Previously she covered a wide variety of sports and news stories in Springfield, Miami, and Providence, Rhode Island. She has reported on some of the biggest sporting events in the nation ranging from; the heartbreak of the Patriot’s loss to the Eagles in Superbowl 52, to the triumph of the Red Sox in the 2013 World Series.
Maine is her native home. She attended Northeastern University where she graduated with a double-majored in journalism and communication studies in 2011. Later on, she interned at 890 ESPN radio, NESN, and WEEI-AM where she was selected to report from inside the Red Sox clubhouse.
