Keith McGilvery is an American anchor who is working at FOX 61. He serves as an anchor on the weekday morning newscast from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m.
He has also worked at WCAX-TV a CBS affiliate in Burlington, Vermont where he served as a co-anchor and co-host of “ The:30.” While he served as co-host of “ The:30,” he has the opportunity to interview musicians and politicians about cooking, raining for a road race, and learning Jiu-Jitsu. In addition, he also reported for Channel 3 News at 5 and 6.
His journalism career began in Charlottesville, Virginia where he worked at WVIR/NBC29 serving as a general assignment reporter. He attended Emerson College where he earned a master’s degree in journalism. In addition, he also attended Fordham University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science and communications. While he was at Fordham University, he served as student body president.
He did his internship with ABC’s Good Morning America, 20/20, and Primetime Live in New York. Furthermore, for his work as a young journalist, he received the Radio-Television News Directors Foundation’s Abe Schechter Scholarship before being named by Vermont Business Magazine as a “Rising Star”.
