Marielle Mohs is an American journalist working for WCCO CBS Minnesota as a sports and news reporter. She joined the station in April 2019 as a news reporter. Previously, she served KMOV in St. Louis, Missouri as a reporter.
Marielle Mohs Education
Mohs joined the University of Denver in 2009 when she finished her high school education at Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School. In 2013, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and minors in Marketing and Spanish.
While in college, Mohs was a Ski Instructor at the Ski and Snowboard Club Vail from November 2009 to February 2011. There, she taught English and Spanish-speaking children from ages 7-14 how to ski ranging from level 1-5 (1 beginner, 5 using poles).
In 2010, Mohs attended Universidad Internacional Menendez Pelayo on a Summer Abroad Program in Spanish and Liberal Studies. There, she was in a 5-week study abroad program in Santander, Spain where she completed liberian Culture and Conversation and Composition courses.
Mohs served mtvU as a debate correspondent from October 2012 to January 2013. Prior to mtvU, she was a General News Intern at KCNC-TV from May 2012 to August 2012. She was then an Intern at Emap in London, U.K. from September 2011 to January 2012.
In 2011, she attended The University of Westminster on a Fall Study Abroad Program in Business Fashion and Media Studies. In July of that year, she was a Production Assistant Intern at American Idol Productions.

Mohs works for WCCO CBS Minnesota as a sports and news reporter. Upon joining the station, she first worked as a news reporter till July 2023 when sports reporting duties were added to her schedule at the station. Since joining WCCO, she has been on the ground reporting for the protests and riots following the murder of George Floyd. Mohs was part of the WCCO award-winning documentary “6 Days in May” about the uprising in the Twin Cities following the murder of George Floyd. Also, she was nominated for an Upper Midwest Emmy.
Prior to joining WCCO, she worked for KMOV-TV as a Reporter from April 2017 to June 2019. There, she was nominated for a Midwest Emmy in 2018, and in 2019 won a Missouri Broadcasters Award. Also, she got to cover the 100th PGA Championship and the St. Louis Blues winning the Stanley Cup in 2019.
Mohs began her journalism career at KTHV as a News Reporter from July 2013 to December 2016. There, she was a multi-media journalist and fill-in anchor. Before that, she was in the Talent Development Program at KUSA-TV from January 2013 to June 2013.
