Kim serves at TMJ4 as a weekday news reporter and weekend news anchor. Shortly after arriving in Milwaukee, her hard work and dedication paid off, as she was promoted to full-time reporting and eventually anchoring. Susan has covered numerous stories throughout her time at the station, including the Packers Super Bowl victories in New Orleans and San Diego, the Falk explosion, and the crane collapse at Miller Park. Susan was nominated for an Emmy in 2012 for her reporting on the Azana Spa Shootings.
She has overseen the station’s coverage of various disasters and breaking news during her many years on the anchor desk of ‘TMJ4 News Today,’ including the massive fire that destroyed the Pizza Man restaurant on Milwaukee’s East Side. The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association has named ‘TMJ4 News Today the ‘Best Morning Newscast’ several times.
Susan is likewise dedicated to making her neighborhood a better place to live. She spends a lot of time volunteering for a variety of organizations, but one of her favorites is the ‘TMJ4 Community Baby Shower,’ which she helped launch in 2001.
