Cindy Williams is an American retired anchor and reporter who is best known for her time at NEWS CENTER Maine where she served as the co-anchored the Noon, 5:30, and 6 p.m. newscasts. She joined NEWS CENTER Maine in 1989 and later in November 2021., she left the station for her retirement. 

In 1985, she graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi where she earned a degree in Radio, Television, and Film. After joining the WCSH team in 1989, she first served as a morning anchor on the 6:30 am to 7 am newscast and as the co-anchor of the noon newscast. She worked at WCSH for three decades and while she was at the station, she was awarded a number of awards from the Maine Association of Broadcasters and the Associated Press for her reporting and anchoring.

She has also worked at WDAM-TV in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and on the NBC affiliate in Laurel where she served as the 7 and 10 pm anchor. In the year 1986, she held the title of Miss Mississippi USA and in 1986, she was the third runner-up for the Miss USA pageant. Furthermore, she was also a  semi-finalist in the 1986 Miss International contest.
